Stewardship and Volunteer Coordinator

Coastal Rivers is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Stewardship and Volunteer Coordinator to help manage Coastal Rivers’ growing portfolio of conserved lands and foster strong relationships with the volunteer stewards who support our work. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for land conservation and stewardship, and excitement about working with volunteers and the local community.

Interim Camp Director

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Interim Camp Director to lead Camp Mummichog  while our current Camp Director is on maternity leave. As Interim Camp Director, you will oversee all aspects of camp operations, ensuring the safety, engagement, and enjoyment of both campers and fellow camp staff. Key responsibilities include managing nature education programming, supervising camp staff, maintaining strong communication with families, and ensuring all DHHS compliances are met. You will also collaborate with community partners and educators to provide authentic, inclusive and impactful curriculum.

Camp Instructor

The Camp Instructor assists with all aspects of camp operations and education. Topics include natural history, ecology, marine biology, Wabanaki culture, and outdoor living skills. We are looking for an enthusiastic instructor with a zest for life and a real interest in supporting young people in an outdoor educational setting. The ideal candidate is someone who can be fully present for the children and who has an interest in the natural world.

Camp Counselor

As a Camp Counselor, you will play an essential role in delivering an engaging and educational camp experience. Working under the guidance of senior staff, you will assist in all aspects of camp operations and education. Topics covered include natural history, ecology, marine biology, Wabanaki culture, and outdoor living skills.

Junior Camp Counselor

As a Junior Camp Counselor, you will play an essential role in delivering an engaging and educational camp experience. Working under the guidance of senior staff, you will assist in all aspects of camp operations and education. The Camp Junior Counselor position is a great way to develop leadership skills, build teamwork abilities, gain real-world experience, have fun outdoors, and make a difference helping our campers to have an unforgettable summer. This position is ideal for students who want to grow as leaders, explore career interests, and create lasting memories.
