Courtesy Boat Inspector
15 hrs/wk, late June through August 15 or early September 2025 We are seeking a friendly and well-spoken individual to talk to boaters about invasive aquatic plants and offer voluntary Courtesy Boat Inspections at public boat landings on Pemaquid and Biscay Ponds. This program serves as a first line of defense against the introduction of invasive aquatic plants into local lakes and ponds. Your role is as a friendly ambassador for the health of our waterways. In addition to Courtesy Boat Inspections, you will provide information on protecting loons, and help people exchange their lead fishing tackle for a safer option. The position also involves collecting data and submitting it online, and supporting volunteers for the CBI program.Application deadline: Open until filled
Interim Camp Director
35-37 hrs/wk, early June through mid-August 2025 We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Interim Camp Director to lead Camp Mummichog while our current Camp Director is on maternity leave. As Interim Camp Director, you will oversee all aspects of camp operations, ensuring the safety, engagement, and enjoyment of both campers and fellow camp staff. Key responsibilities include managing nature education programming, supervising camp staff, maintaining strong communication with families, and ensuring all DHHS compliances are met. Camp Instructor
35-37 hrs/wk, mid-June through mid-August 2025 The Camp Instructor assists with all aspects of camp operations and education. Topics include natural history, ecology, marine biology, Wabanaki culture, and outdoor living skills. We are looking for an enthusiastic instructor with a zest for life and a real interest in supporting young people in an outdoor educational setting.
