Trails: Hunting permitted

Description

Coastal Rivers is committed to providing access to our lands for hunting, where appropriate. We do ask hunters to notify Coastal Rivers before hunting on land trust property. Call 207-563-1393 or email trails@coastalrivers.org.

Guidelines

  • Temporary tree stands and game cameras are allowed by permission; contact trails@coastalrivers.org. Stands must be away from trails and marked with the hunter’s name, address, and phone number. No metal fasteners may be used in trees, and cutting trees or brush is not permitted.
  • Hunters must follow all laws and rules set by Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
  • Target shooting as well as predator hunting, including bear, fox, bobcat and coyote, is prohibited on all Coastal Rivers properties.
