SUMMARY:Bittersweet Brigade
DESCRIPTION:Join the Bittersweet Brigade!\nWe are looking for volunteers to join our weekly invasive workday. For the month of November\, we will continue to focus our efforts on the invasives at Salt Bay Farm\, located on Belvedere Rd in Damariscotta. We will meet at Coastal Rivers’ Nature Center before walking down the trails together. \nNot only will your participation help protect native species and ecosystems\, but you can expect to become familiar and able to identify many invasive species including bittersweet\, multiflora rose\, barberry\, and more. You will also learn the best techniques in fighting against invasives including herbicide dabbing. \nAs with all Coastal Rivers workdays\, safety is our highest priority. Please bring water\, work gloves\, and sturdy shoes.
