Damariscotta Quatroseptcentennial 5K/Walk/Fun run

Celebrate Damariscotta’s 175th anniversary with a trail run or walk at Round Top Farm!
Come out for a community run/walk to kick off Damariscotta’s Quatroseptcentennail celebration. There will be prizes for top overall male and female finishers, as well as for the top male and female finishers in each age group – plus a prize for the most patriotic, “state-riotic” or Damariscotta-themed costume!
The professionally timed 5K trail run will make two loops around Round Top Farm and Whaleback Shell Midden, starting on the accessible Rhoda and Lee Cohen River Trail before veering off onto wide mown pathways around the perimeter of the hayfields. (There are some hills!)
The 1.5 mile walk and fun run will follow the same route, but making only one loop.
Registration
The fee to register is $5 per person, and FREE for kids under 18!
Preregistration is closed. Same day registration opens at 9:00 on Saturday, July 1.
Come for the run, stay for the fun!
Our partners are planning a weekend of fun events, including:
- Jake Day Diaramas on display at the town office (6/30, 7/1, and 7/3 from 11:00 to 4:00)
- Fun Run, Bounce House and Food Trucks at Round Top Farm (7/1 from 10:00 on)
- Historic building walking tour (7/1 from 9:00 to 3:00)
- Lincoln County historic garden tour (7/1 from 10:00 to 2:00)
- Parade starting at 5:00 on July 4, followed by music and fireworks in the back parking lot
