Outdoor family fun

Celebrate Earth Day with exploration and fun at Coastal Rivers Salt Bay Farm!

Come anytime between 10 AM and 3 PM and enjoy a smorgasbord of activities, including:

• A self-guided spring nature walk around the marsh, with fun facts along the way (did you know frogs swallow their food with the backs of their eyeballs?
• Hourly children’s book readings with Nature Center volunteers
• Owl pellets to dissect
• Marsh mucking, with a volunteer on hand to provide nets and buckets and help you identify what you find
• Nature-inspired arts and crafts
• Field games… and more!

Nature Center restrooms will be available, as well as snacks and drinks (while supplies last). There are several picnic tables at the Nature Center if you care to bring a picnic and make a day of it!

Boots are recommended for the full marsh-mucking experience.
