Fall hikes with a naturalist – October

8:30 – 10:30 AM, three Fridays, October to December

Fall weather can be ideal for walking in the woods, and it’s fascinating to observe local plants and animals during this time of transition as they get ready for cold weather! Join Education Director Sarah Gladu on gentle hikes with frequent stops for natural history learning. FREE.

Boots are recommended. We love dogs, but we ask that you leave them at home for these guided hikes.

October 18 – Tree Identification at Dodge Point River Road, Newcastle, From Business Route 1 in Damariscotta, head south on River Road for 3.1 miles. The preserve parking lot is on the left.
