Free
bridge at Seal Cove Shore

8:30 – 10:30 AM, three Fridays, October to December

Fall weather can be ideal for walking in the woods, and it’s fascinating to observe local plants and animals during this time of transition as they get ready for cold weather! Join Education Director Sarah Gladu on gentle hikes with frequent stops for natural history learning. FREE.

Boots are recommended. We love dogs, but we ask that you leave them at home for these guided hikes.

December 6 – Woodland Ecology Seal Cove Shore Preserve, South Bristol. Located on the S Road in South Bristol off of Route 129, about 11 miles south of Damariscotta and 1.5 miles north of The Gut. Follow the S Road around the base of Seal Cove then stay right and turn north. The preserve trailhead will be on your right.
