Family Program at Salt Bay Farm

January 26 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Winter Birds

Winter is a great time to discover vacant bird nests that are exposed now that the leaves are gone. Join Coastal Rivers naturalist Angela DesVeaux for a guided walk to identify birds, look for nests, and learn fun facts about our avian friends that stay for the winter. Dissect a real owl pellet and make a bird feeder craft to take home! Geared toward ages 3-7 (though all are welcome!).

Bird books and binoculars will be available to borrow, but feel free to bring your own.

We love dogs, but ask that you leave them at home for this program.

Health & Safety

To protect the health and safety of our staff and program participants of all ages, please do not attend if you are not feeling well, are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19, or have recently been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19.
