A wooded walk along the river
Join Naturalist Sarah Gladu and fellow nature enthusiasts for a gentle hike at Crooked Farm in Bristol. Crooked Farm is bordered by an undeveloped stretch of the Pemaquid River, and the wetlands here provide edge habitat favored by moose, white-tailed deer, mink, raccoon, fisher, fox, and otter. We’ll enjoy the shaded trails and look for signs of wildlife in the woods and along the river.
Good footwear for walking and water is recommended. Mosquitos enjoy this habitat too, so be sure to come prepared!
We love dogs, but ask that you leave them at home for this guided hike.
Weather contingencies: We will reschedule as needed only for severe weather. If there are any changes, we’ll notify those who are registered by email and post an update on this page.
