Signs of spring at a historic tree farm
Join Naturalist Sarah Gladu and fellow nature enthusiasts on the trails at Dodge Point in Newcastle. On this early spring walk, the sap will be rising in the trees and budburst will be evident. Look for signs of spring and learn about the history of land use that can still be read on the landscape throughout this preserve.
Good footwear for walking and water is recommended. Ticks may be present even in winter, so please take precautions and be sure to check yourself over after our outing.
We love dogs, but ask that you leave them at home for this guided hike.
