Kim Scheimreif will be sharing her craft-making talents which she makes for local fairs and farmers market at an upcoming DRA workshop. Scheimreif, is the proprietor of Shepherds and Such Homesteading Farm and her products are sold at the Boothbay, Damariscotta, and Bath Farmer’s Markets, local stores in the mid-coast area and on her Etsy shop Mainelywaxandwool. Scheimreif says, “Nature is art and my favorite mediums from nature are wool, beeswax, wood, milkweed, and flowers.”

The Felting workshop will be held from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. and participants can make a felted accessory such as a cell phone case, small bag or eyeglass case. Participants will have the choice to make either clay or wooden buttons to adorn their accessory. The fee for this workshop is $50.00 per participant. To register call DRA at 207-563-1393.

Also on December 6, Scheimreif will also be leading a wax workshop and a medicinal tea/tincture workshop.
