Come join the Trail Tamers and Maine Conservation Corps!
We are looking for volunteers to join us on Wednesday, June 8 from 1:00 – 3:00pm for a special Trail Tamers workday.
This month we will be working alongside our Maine Conservation Corps (MCC) crew putting in a new trail at the Sarah Weston Kent Preserve. This work will consist of using loppers and handsaws to cut vegetation and clear a corridor for our new trail. For anyone looking to get a first hand look at the amazing work MCC has been doing on our trails, this is your chance!
We will meet at the end of Spirit Hill Lane in Bremen. Please be courteous of neighbors along the road and drive slow.
We will provide all necessary tools, but feel free to bring your favorite pair of loppers or handsaw! As will all workdays, please bring work gloves, water, and sturdy shoes.
