Explore layers of history
Join Sarah Gladu, Coastal Rivers’ Director of Education and Citizen Science, for a tour of the Whaleback shell middens. Whaleback is one of the largest middens on the east coast and a tribute to the Wabanaki people’s ancestors and their resourcefulness.
Sarah will share artifacts and a Wabanaki story, and discuss the environmental changes that have impacted the site and the lives of the people connected to it over thousands of years.
The program will be offered live via Zoom, with Sarah on-site at the Middens.
