Weekly conversations about what we’re seeing and wondering about outside

You do not have to have a fireplace to join naturalist Sarah Gladu by Zoom for one or more weekly conversations about local natural history, recent happenings, nature observations and more.

This relaxed and unstructured time is for anyone who has nature observations to share or questions about nature in your backyard. We may share things we’ve seen outside or wondered about recently, or perhaps discuss a book or article we’ve has happened across. Pick up interesting tidbits such as how chickadees remember where they put the seeds they store, or why trees don’t freeze. Perhaps you have seen some mysterious tracks in the snow that you want to identify.

You are encouraged to your own observations, questions and ideas about the natural world! If you have photos you’d like to share or ask about, please email them in ahead of time to sgladu@coastalrivers.org.
