The Coastal Rivers Paddlers, formerly known as the PWA Paddlers, will explore Witch Island and the Gut from Pemaquid Harbor on May 25. The paddle will include time to hike the trails on Witch island.

Paddlers should meet at the launch site at 8:30 for a 9:00 AM departure time.

Directions to the launch site:
Take Route 130 south for approximately 11 miles, and turn right onto Huddle Road. At the end of Huddle Road, turn right and follow the signs for Colonial Pemaquid Boat Launch.

There will be an optional lunch at the Cupboard Cafe following the paddle.

We welcome all new paddlers! No registration is required, but paddlers must have a release form on file with Coastal Rivers. Download the form here, or get a copy from the paddle leader at the time of the paddle.

Paddle weather cancellations:

Coastal Rivers paddles are held rain or shine. If weather conditions are extreme, the decision to cancel will be made at the launch site, and paddlers will determine as a group whether to reschedule.
