Mountainfilm on Tour visits Damariscotta, Maine bringing a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and incredibly inspiring documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado.
Held at The Lincoln Theater on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, the show will explore the themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission: using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.
Mountainfilm on Tour in Damariscotta is hosted by Friends of GSB and the GSB PTO in partnership Great Salt Bay Community School. Sponsored by the Friends of GSB, Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust, the Newcastle Inn, Rising Tide Co-Op, Oxbow Brewing Company and Morning Dew Farm.
All funds raised will go to support Great Salt Bay Community School’s outdoor education initiatives, specifically the new Greenhouse and Outdoor Complex at GSB.
Tickets are available at the Lincoln Theater box office, Tuesday through Thursday from 10 am to 1 pm, or by calling 563-3424. Tickets will also be available at the door. Prices are $10 per adult, $5 per child or student and $25 per family. Cash or credit card accepted.
Doors open at 5:30pm. Beer, seltzer, savory and sweet snacks will be available for purchase.
