19th Annual Winter Physical Activity Challenge

Sponsored by LincolnHealth, 5-2-1-0 Let’s go! Lincoln County, Boothbay Region Land Trust, Coastal Rivers, and Midcoast Conservancy

Don’t let the winter blues get you down! Join local businesses, organizations and schools and take up the Winter Physical Activity Challenge, whether by yourself, with family or friends, or with a team. Between Monday, January 10 and Friday, February 25, your challenge is to be physically active for at least 30 minutes four times a week, or an equivalent amount of time, in order to reach the symbolic goal of hiking around Lincoln County.

You get to choose how and when you want to be active throughout the week. Any time spent doing any moderate to intense physical activity, whether indoors or outdoors, counts toward your goal. You do not have to walk or hike the specific trails on the map, but we encourage you to explore if you are feeling adventurous!

Once you register, you’ll receive an email with instructions and a Challenge Map that you can use to track your progress, along with fun facts about the trails and events that are featured on the map, including trail locations, length, and level of difficulty.
