SUMMARY:Pop-up sledding parties
DESCRIPTION:Saturdays at Salt Bay Farm – as long as there’s snow!\nSalt Bay Farm is a local favorite in wintertime\, for good reason! Whether you favor the gentle slope in front of the farmhouse or choose to take your chances on the big hill\, or just want to walk\, run\, ski\, or snowshoe on the trails\, there’s something for everyone. \nYou’re invited to come enjoy the snow with sledding\, hot cocoa\, a campfire\, and marshmallows. Bring your own sleds\, or borrow one of ours. If there is enough snow\, you can even borrow a pair of snowshoes to try (first come\, first served). And if you bring your own reusable mug for cocoa\, we’ll give you a Coastal Rivers sticker to put on it! \nWHEN: Saturdays from 1:30 – 3:30 PM\, from January 8 through March 5\, whenever there is snow for safe sledding. Check our online calendar or our Facebook page for updates (posted by noon the Friday before each event). \nNature Center restrooms will be available during the pop-up parties (masks required inside)\, though the building is not otherwise open to the public at this time. \nFREE\, thanks to member support and our Nature Center volunteers!
