The River~Link trail extends along the spine of the Boothbay peninsula, where you can walk for miles without crossing a road. It’s a great place for birdwatching, finding animal tracks, scat, and other signs, and identifying diverse woodland plants. Join DRA Education Director Sarah Gladu for a 5-mile guided hike along the River~Link trail from McKay Road in Edgecomb to Dodge Point in Newcastle.
Bring lunch and water. Meet at Dodge Point, River Road, Newcastle to leave cars, then carpool to the trailhead on McKay road.
Registration is required by 4:00 PM Saturday, April 14. $5/members free.
