Come join the Trail Tamers!
We are looking for volunteers to join us on Thursday, September 24 from 1:00 – 3:00pm for our Trail Tamers workday.
This month, we are excited to be going to Hart Woods to break ground on a new trail. The work will mainly consist of clearing a corridor for the new trail using loppers and handsaws, and beginning to establish a defined path using rakes and other tools.
As we do not yet have a parking lot for this preserve, please park at 163 Fogler Rd in Bremen. This is just a short walk down the road from where we will be working, and there will be staff present to direct you.
We will provide all necessary tools and materials, but feel free to bring your favorite pair of loppers or handsaw! As will all workdays, please bring work gloves, water, and sturdy shoes.
Please sign up using the form below.
