Shelter Building and Outdoor Skills

Learn to make a shelter for fun or emergencies, relying on nature to help you. We’ll talk about the essentials of an emergency shelter, including some history of different designs and materials. We’ll also learn what it means to “dress like an onion!” Geared toward ages 6-11 (though all are welcome!).

We love dogs, but ask that you leave them at home for this program.

Health & Safety

To protect the health and safety of our staff and program participants of all ages, please do not attend if you are not feeling well, are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19, or have recently been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19.
