DESCRIPTION:An ethereal spruce forest\nJoin naturalist Sarah Gladu at Seal Cove Shore Preserve in South Bristol to explore a fern-filled ravine\, rocky outcroppings\, coastal spruce forest and sweeping views of the Damariscotta River estuary. Seal Cove is an interesting place to observe how the estuary influences the forest and vice versa. \nWe love dogs\, but ask that you leave them at home for this guided hike. \nWeather contingencies: We will reschedule as needed only for severe weather. If there are any changes\, we’ll notify those who are registered by email and post an update on this page. \nHealth & Safety\nTo protect the health and safety of our staff and program participants of all ages\, we require that all participants who are eligible be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
