Interpretive walk with Tom Wessels: Plummer Point Preserve
August 26, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
FreeYou won’t see the woods the same way again!
Join author and terrestrial ecologist Tom Wessels for an interpretive walk to explore the ecology, natural, and cultural history of Plummer Point Preserve. Specifically, Tom will be interpreting the history of the woodlands — whether they were once open agricultural land, impacted by wind events, fires, or logging — as well as unique plant adaptations and interesting coevolved interrelationships among the woodland species we encounter.

Note: this is the first of three interpretive walks with Tom on the same date. We anticipate high demand for these programs, so we ask that people register for only one. The second walk is at Keyes Woods Preserve at 12:30 PM, and the third is at Crooked Farm Preserve at 3:00 PM.
