Trail Tamers monthly work parties tackle specific stewardship projects like building a bridge or clearing a section of trail. They’re scheduled for the third Thursday of each month (except April), spring through fall, with some Saturday events to be determined.

As the inevitable additional projects arise we’ll also schedule special work events. Signing up will put you on the e-mail notice list for notifications. You’re welcome to join us for one or all of the events. Kids under 18 with adult supervision are also most welcome at all Trail Tamers events.

April 21 (Friday) – Oxbow Brewing Company: Weather permitting, we will be assisting with an experimental fascine project to address erosion on a slope behind the tasting room. If conditions are not right for digging, we will work on Oxbow’s trail system instead. Oxbow has offered to treat us to beer and grilled food once work is accomplished!
