Come join the Trail Tamers!
We are looking for volunteers to join us on Thursday, June 25 from 1:00 – 3:00pm for our Trail Tamers workday.
This month we will be at Walpole Woods trimming the trail and putting in additional bog bridging to elevate wet sections. The bog bridging will include carrying lumber down the trail and assembling on site; the trimming work will be done using loppers and hand saws to clear vegetation.
We will meet at the Walpole Woods parking lot, located at 542 State Rte. 129 in South Bristol. Parking lot space is very limited. If you are able, we will have carpooling leave Round Top Farm at 12:40pm.
We will provide all necessary tools and materials, but feel free to bring your favorite pair of loppers or handsaw! As will all workdays, please bring work gloves, water, and sturdy shoes.
