For those who live on or near a lake or pond, or for anyone who cares about water quality in our fresh water lakes and ponds!
Hear from guest speaker Tracy Hart, coordinator of Maine Audubon’s annual Loon Count. In addition, Sarah Gladu, Coastal Rivers’ Director of Education and Citizen Science, will share current data on the status of lakes and ponds in the Pemaquid River watershed. Sarah will also provide an overview of Coastal Rivers’ initiatives to promote water quality and prevent the introduction of invasive aquatic plants, and address questions and concerns as time allows.
