A regular program for homeschool families and groups.

These classes are held 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon the fourth Monday of each month (except December). Hike and nature journaling always included. Prepay for five classes and get a sixth class free. For ages 5 and up (younger may come). Fee: $5.00/child.  Call DRA to register.

Fall Schedule:

September 25 – Buzzing Bees: Observe native pollinators and take home a ‘house’ for solitary bees.
October 23 – Wabanaki Traditions: Build wigwams, taste wild edibles and hear traditional stories.
November 27 – Turkey Tails: Go on a bird walk, look for turkeys and other birds.
December 18 – Mammals of Maine: Can you tell a mink from an ermine? Look for tracks and signs.
