Wild Encounters

A regular program for homeschool families and groups. We start each class with an introduction to the topic, followed by a hike and nature journaling.

Wild Encounters classes are held 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM the fourth Monday of each month (except December). For ages 5 and up, though younger kids may come along. Fee: $5.00 per child age 5 and up, or prepay for 5 classes and get a 6th class free.

October 28 – Wabanaki Ways. Build wigwams, taste wild edibles, and make cedar twine.

Coming Up:

November 26 – Outdoor Living Skills. Practice shelter building and using a compass.
December 16 – Birds in Winter. Go on a bird walk and discover unique bird adaptations for winter.
