Trees in Winter
Even with leaves long gone, there is much to observe about trees in winter. Join Education Director Sarah Gladu on a gentle hike with frequent stops for natural history learning. FREE.
Boots are recommended, as well as snowshoes/ice cleats if there is snow or ice on the trail. We love dogs, but we ask that you leave them at home for this guided hike.
January 11 – La Verna Preserve, Bristol. Take Route 32 south from Round Pond and travel 3.5 miles south of the Round Pond Post Office. Look for Ocean Hill cemetery on your right. Soon after the cemetery, there is a parking area for the preserve on the right (west side of road).
