Morning program for grades K through 4

July and August
Outdoor nature exploration for rising Kindergarten through 4th grade students, with trained Coastal Rivers instructors. This program will take place Tuesday through Thursday as a fun, active, and engaging way to kick off the day before summer school. Together we’ll play nature-inspired games, catch interesting insects and observe them, learn about animal tracks and signs, explore different wildlife habitats, take discovery walks in forests and fields, work on art projects, and lots more!

Outdoor adventure program at Plummer Point Preserve for grades 5 through 8

July and August
The spruce forest and magical shoreline of Plummer Point Preserve will be ours to explore during this daily outdoor education program! Led by trained Coastal Rivers educators, students will

  • practice outdoor survival skills like finding wild edibles and cooking outdoors
  • engage in group problem-solving and skills-building
  • explore the woods and seashore
  • go on a kayak adventure each week with Midcoast Kayak

Students will be picked up and dropped off at their homes each day by bus, and free lunches will be provided by Healthy Lincoln County.
