Enjoy a gentle early spring walk with naturalist Sarah Gladu at Dodge Point in Newcastle. Hike down to the beach where bricks were once made to look for traces of the past, and keep an eye out for signs of spring along the way.

We'll explore the spartina grasses and a salt marsh creek as we look for horseshoe crab nesting sites. Learn about the history, biology, and behavior of horseshoe crabs, as well as the importance of salt marsh environments along the Maine coast.
