Canceled Bittersweet Brigade
Join the Bittersweet Brigade and help fight back against invasive plants! For the month of November, we will continue to focus our efforts on the invasives at Salt Bay Farm. This work is immensely satisfying and of huge importance in maintaining healthy ecosystems in our community.

Join us for the first Trail Tamers of the season! We will be continuing construction of a new trail at the Sarah Weston Kent Preserve, across from Pemaquid Pond. Be ready for a hike and for the start of a great trail season.

Celebrate Earth Day and help beautify town roads in memory of Elmer Tarr, who walked the Pemaquid Point Road for many years picking up trash, rain or shine. Please wear bright clothing and gloves, and bring a water bottle.

Join us for a special spring workday on the River~Link Trail in collaboration with Boothbay Region Land Trust and the Town of Edgecomb! Activities will include trimming vegetation along the trail and performing other routine trail maintenance.

For this month's Trail Tamers, we will be working at Crooked Farm in Bristol. We will be focusing on trimming the trail and clearing away any fallen debris. Help us to get the trail ready for summer while enjoying the beautiful views of the Pemaquid River!

Join us for an "After Hours" trail workday! For this workday, we will be at Marsh River Bog installing bog bridging and rerouting a short section of the trail.

Come join the Trail Tamers! For this workday, we will be at Walpole Woods putting in bog bridging and trimming the trail. Help us raise the trail out of wet sections and cut away vegetation to create a clear walking path!

Join us for a special Trail Tamers workday! This month, we will be working alongside our Maine Conservation Corps crew who have been busy working on constructing a new trail at the Sarah Weston Kent Preserve. We will work with them to build a new trail and get a first hand look at all of the progress they have made.

Come join the Trail Tamers! For this work day, we'll be at the Town of Bremen's Hilton O'Connor Trail. Our task is to put in additional bog bridging and potentially do some trimming work.

Invasive plants can cause tremendous loss of wildlife habitat, recreational and property damage. Identifying invasive plants before they spread is a critical part of protecting water quality.
You do not need to have a boat or shorefront property to participate as an IPP volunteer.
