Join us for an "After Hours" trail workday! For this workday, we will be at Marsh River Bog installing bog bridging and rerouting a short section of the trail.

We invite you to join naturalist Sarah Gladu at Coastal Rivers’ Salt Bay Farm for a field trip into the salt marsh to search for horseshoe crabs, mummichogs, and marine worms. We'll explore the spartina grasses and a salt marsh creek as we look for horseshoe crab nesting sites. Learn about the history, biology, and behavior of horseshoe crabs, as well as the importance of salt marsh environments along the Maine coast.

Local artists Erica Qualey and Joy Vaughan invite you to join them at Seal Cove Shore Preserve in South Bristol for an adventure in plein air painting. We'll meet at the preserve and walk until we find a spot we’d like to settle in to paint or sketch. There will be no formal instruction, but participants are welcome and encouraged to ask questions, share techniques, and socialize.

Come join the Trail Tamers! For this workday, we will be at Walpole Woods putting in bog bridging and trimming the trail. Help us raise the trail out of wet sections and cut away vegetation to create a clear walking path!

Join us for a special Trail Tamers workday! This month, we will be working alongside our Maine Conservation Corps crew who have been busy working on constructing a new trail at the Sarah Weston Kent Preserve. We will work with them to build a new trail and get a first hand look at all of the progress they have made.

Plummer Point is a local favorite, with its lovely coastal spruce forest and stunning views of the Damariscotta River, Seal Cove, and nearby islands. Bring your binoculars to look for birds and basking harbor seals along the way.
