Whether you favor the gentle hill in front of the farmhouse or choose to take your chances on the big hill, or just want to walk/ski/snowshoe on the trails, there's something for everyone.
You're invited to come enjoy the snow with sledding, hot cocoa courtesy of Bangor Savings Bank, a campfire, and marshmallows. Bring your own sleds, or borrow one of ours!

This will be the fourth event in Mid-coast Audubon's Salt Bay Sundays series. Walk the trails at Coastal Rivers Salt Bay Farm looking for ducks, sparrows, finches, and any other winter birds.
Guided hike at Dodge Point
Dodge Point River Road, Newcastle, ME, United StatesJoin Naturalist Sarah Gladu and fellow nature enthusiasts for a gentle hike on the trails at Dodge Point in Newcastle. On this early spring walk, the sap will be rising in the trees and budburst will be evident. We will look for signs of spring and talk about the history of land use that can still be read on the landscape throughout this preserve.

The fifth and final event in Mid-coast Audubon's winter Salt Bay Sundays series at Coastal Rivers Salt Bay Farm. Although it may not feel like it, winter will be over and we may start to see the return of birds like Turkey Vultures, Killdeer, and American Woodcock.
