Muskrat Marsh – search the wetlands for muskrat dens and other animal signs.

For preschoolers (ages 2-5) and their parents/guardians. A little bit of learning and exploring, and a hike!

These classes are held 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. the fourth Thursday of each month (except November and December). Fee: $3.00 per child, or prepay for 5 classes and get a 6th class free. Sign up online.

January – Hibernation Appreciation: Explore, search for animal signs like tracks, scat, and dens, and build shelters.

For kids ages 6 to 11. Active, hands-on learning in a safe outdoor environment. Coastal Rivers Nature Center is on bus routes from Great Salt Bay and Nobleboro Central schools and close to Route 1.

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., for month-long sessions. Fee: $55, or $50 for members at the Mussel level and above.
