Hands-On Nature for Young Children
A monthly hands-on nature program, offered September through June, for preschool children and a caregiver. Each class includes a song or story, a hike, and often a craft. These classes are held 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. the third Thursday of each month.
Fee: $3.00 per child between the ages of 2 and 5. Participants may prepay for five classes and get a sixth class free.

March 21 – Under the Log: What creepy crawlies can we find in the forest? Under the log? On top of a rock?
April 18 – Marsh Critters: Visit the freshwater marsh with nets to see what tiny creatures can be found.
May 16 – Horseshoe Crab Count: Make discoveries in the salt marsh and search for horseshoe crabs.
