Hands-On Nature for Young Children
A monthly hands-on nature program, offered September through June, for preschool children and a caregiver. Each class includes a song or story, a hike, and often a craft. These classes are held 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. the fourth Thursday of each month.
Fee: $3.00 per child between the ages of 2 and 5, or prepay for five classes and get a sixth class free.

September 26 – Flowers and Fruit Look for flowers and pollinators. Press apples to make apple cider.
October 24 – Who’s Home? Turn over logs and rocks and search for animal homes.
November 21 – Turkey Tracks Search for turkeys and other birds and do an art project.
December 19 – Muskrat Marsh Search the wetlands for muskrat dens and other animal signs.
