Scaling up for connectivity, wildlife habitat, water quality, and climate resilience
River~Link is a multi-town land conservation initiative, the result of collaboration between state, municipal and non-profit partners. This trail and wildlife corridor connects between the Damariscotta and Marsh Rivers and stretches along the spine of the Boothbay Peninsula.
The goal is a permanently protected and publicly accessible block of connected land totaling several thousand acres that can support climate resilience, clean water, recreation and wildlife at a necessary scale.
