Twin Villages Foodbank Farm’s success rooted in partnerships

By the Community and for the Community

Twin Villages Foodbank Farm’s success is rooted in partnerships and strong support from the community. Although a few things are different this year with Covid, the farm is on target to grow 50,000 pounds of food to donate to Lincoln County food pantries, and to aggregate another 20,000 pounds from other growers in its food storage hub.

Coastal Rivers is proud to partner with Twin Villages Foodbank Farm. When Meg and Sara approached us over five years ago with their dream to make use of the fertile fields at Salt Bay Farm to meet an urgent need in our community, we had little idea where that dream would lead. Their caring vision of social justice and on-the-ground hard work inspire us daily.

We urge you to see their new video – you may be inspired, too!
