We’ll look for the earliest arriving swallows, sparrows, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, and maybe even a few warblers!

Support Twin Villages Foodbank Farm with a Thanksgiving Day 5K Trail Run or 1-Mile Walk/Fun Run! This is a volunteer-organized event taking place at Coastal Rivers Salt Bay Farm in Damariscotta. There is no fee to participate, but monetary donations of any amount to the Foodbank Farm are encouraged.

Guided hike at Salt Bay Farm Preserve

Celebrate National Take a Hike Day with us! Join naturalist Sarah Gladu at Salt Bay Farm Preserve in Damariscotta for a stroll through rolling fields and along the shores of Great Salt Bay to visit ancient middens. We may witness late migratory birds in route to southern habitat, and visit the salt marsh in hopes of seeing signs of mink and other wildlife. There may be some muddy spots, so wear appropriate shoes or boots.
