Join us for a special spring workday on the River~Link Trail in collaboration with Boothbay Region Land Trust and the Town of Edgecomb! Activities will include trimming vegetation along the trail and performing other routine trail maintenance.

Guided hike on the River~Link Trail – CANCELED
Enjoy an afternoon hike along the River~Link Trail where we will walk old farm roads, traverse the side of Hunger Mountain, cross a few small streams and look for special plants like rattlesnake plantain along the way. This wildlife corridor is one of the few large blocks of intact land along this region of the coast, providing critical habitat for moose, deer, bobcats, bears and other big animals. We will look for signs of wildlife as we hike.

Enjoy a morning hike along the old farm roads and forest paths of the River~Link Trail in Edgecomb and Newcastle. We'll traverse the side of Mount Hunger, cross wooded streams and look for spring wildflowers along the way. We are likely to see some rattlesnake plantain if we keep an eye out!
