Membership Celebration 2020

In case you missed it, or would like to see it again, below is a link to the video we put together this year in lieu of our annual Membership Celebration.

Despite the many challenges we’ve faced in 2020, you’ve helped make it a great year for land conservation, water quality, public access, and education in the Damariscotta-Pemaquid region. This video highlights just a few of the many projects we’ve been working on this year:

  • Expanding the Sherman Marsh Wildlife Management Area in Newcastle
  • Monitoring water quality in the Damariscotta River Estuary and at local swim beaches
  • Preventing the spread of invasive aquatic species through the Courtesy Boat Inspection Program
  • Laying out an extension of the A.D.A. accessible River Trail in Damariscotta, which will connect Round Top and Whaleback Shell Midden to Salt Bay Farm, making it the longest accessible trail in the region
  • Staying connected with summer campers with Camp in a Box™
  • Offering outdoor education resources and trainings for teachers

Thank you for making all this possible.

Enjoy!
